Hi Gill
Just thought we would let you know that Oscar is settling in well. He goes for his last vaccination tomorrow so we will be able to take him out properly after one week. He has been really good. Sleeps in his crate at night, only cried for a couple of nights. Like The Robb's he has a couple of really crazy hours a day when he runs round like mad and then just flops, which is what he is doing now. Hence the chance to write this email! See you soon and thanks Susan and Les

Hi Gill.
Wanted to come and leave you a message to say how wonderful our little Ralphie is. He has settled in brilliantly and is the most sociable, friendly little puppy. He loves everyone, and is always keen to meet new dogs and people when we are out and about. His best friend is Clemson the retriever, and they roll around playing together for hours on end.
Ralphie is housetrained and very obedient. He can now rollover on demand, and is so keen to learn new things where there is a treat involved! He sleeps in his crate everynight, and goes and rests in there with the door open during the day. He is spoiled and has lots of toys but loves his ball on a rope best though I am waiting for him to knock himself out!
We took him to the beach last week, and are looking forward to out first UK holiday in years when we take him to Cornwall.
It's great to read your comments and I wonder how his siblings are getting on and how good it would be to get him back to meet them.
Thanks Gill for Ralphie. He is a perfect little pet for us and has made our lives so full of fun. I will email some pics soon for your gallery.
Best wishes, Amanda & Andy

Hi Gill, Ody (Jolly John) is a year old in a couple of days and he's made me smile at least once on everyone of those 365 days. Life for him got better (If it could !!!!!) when we found him a soulmate Daisy, a border terrier bitch, they're now inseparable. Walks now consist of Ody running round in overdrive whilst being chased by a yapping and somewhat slower Daisy.......it's exhausting but fun. Regards Linda and Tony.

Hi Jill
Thank you so much for taking the time and patience to talk with me tonight, and it is so nice of you to invite me down to see the kids tomorrow, like i said i lost my Darling Bobby on Easter Monday and i am struggling to come to terms with losing him as i lost his sister last August, i did not think for one minute that i could even think of having another Dog so soon, but i have always wanted a Border and After talking to Janet at Vetcare in Leigh she kindly brought her dog Jasper to see me last Friday i was smitten & i knew then i wanted a Border maybe two to share my life with. Anyway i have now stopped looking on the internet now, i can now get some work done at home and prepare for a new Baby Border that i shall buy from you Gill. Look forward to seeing you. Best Regards Lynda Smith

Hi
Just thought l would send you a quick message to let you know how Madge has settled in, she settled in straight away and after about 5 minutes of howling on the first night she went asleep and has slept through every night since. House training has been no problem, she is really social and we have had no problems with her at all, she is scared of my cat Molly and just leaves her in peace - they sit on opposite sides of the sofa ignoring each other. She has a great time at my mums during the day and loves to bark at her goats!! We have had her on lots of different walks already and she really is a joy - she just makes us laugh all the time and we really enjoy her company and can't wait to take her up the mountains in the Lake District. She has started her puppy training classes - she just wants to play with all the other dogs!! She is brilliant though and is learning new commands all the time. We would like to thank you for giving her such a great start in life, she really is a well adjusted happy puppy - we will be in touch next year when we will be getting another puppy - can't wait!!!! Regards Sue & Pete Lang

Tallulah had a wonderful day out visiting Kgills Border Terriers at Hindley, the place of her birth. She really enjoyed running around with the boys, her Uncle Baz and new boyfriend Blue! It was great to see her mum again and meet the rest of the gang. She was tired out when we left and slept for hours afterwards. Thanks for the hospitality Gill, your advice and guidance is invaluable. Regards, Leonora & Ian

Hi Gill,
We came to visit you in Hindley back in September last year looking for a Border Pup. After carefull consideration we do still feel that they are the right dog for us. We are just waiting for the right time to bring one back to our home. We are getting married in September this year and going on honeymoon for 2 weeks so feel it would be unfair for a young dog to be put in Kennels while we are away. Just though i'd let you know that we thought your dogs and set up were fabulous and we are still interested ! As soon as we feel it is the right time - i'll be back - this time we wont get lost en route ! Catherine and Richard

Hi Gill, just to let you know that Pip (previously Polly) has quickly established herself in the pack. She likes to think she is the boss (and usually is), but she's fantastic and gives us many hours of pleasure. She is so obedient and follows me round at my heels constantly. A star in the making. Love her to bits.

Hi Gill,
Just letting you know red robin (now called Max!) is settling in his new home very well! He cried the first couple of nights but is now sleeping quietly all night in the kitchen. We thought he was going to be very quiet but has turned out to be a real character and is funny to watch while he's playing and racing round the living room.
We will keep in touch and let you know how he's doing and send you a picture when he gets a bit bigger!
Thanks again!
